All proceeds from the fundraiser go to the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL).
The Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) is a not-for-profit organization that helps treat childhood cancer. CCCL is affiliated with St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital (SJCRH) in Memphis, Tennessee and works in close coordination with the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC). What’s even more amazing about this organization is that they treat children patients free of charge! They rely solely on donations, and every little bit helps (you can make donations here). No matter where you are, children do deserve a fighting chance.
When tragedy struck Beirut on August 4th, the city’s hospitals were damaged and left children with cancer suffering. They were transferred to CCCL, and have had an 80% cure rate. That is incredible, for an organization to take on so much in so little time. With this new surge of patients, the CCCL needs your help in order to sustain treatment costs.
Music has the power to make a cultural shift and inspire people to come together. It can make change, empower communities, and give hope in a time of crisis. Now, the concert is free to watch so make sure to check it out!
