Is this what it was like to go to a concert in the 60s? With their musical style of a time passed, Brigitte Calls Me Baby teleported the Cafe du Nord crowd to a decade many of them weren’t alive in.
The Chicago-based band took to the stage with just their instruments and their fashionable attire. Featured on the site ahead of their San Francisco show, I was excited to see the band perform their debut EP This House is Made of Corners. They surprised us that night by performing a few songs off their upcoming LP set to release in August.
Wes Leavins’ vocals were strong and dynamic. The band itself were masters of their instruments and equally as charming. The interactions with each other on stage were endearing, and you could tell with each second of their performance that they loved what they do.
Brigitte Calls Me Baby are set to perform at Lollapalooza later this year. You can catch them on the road back home with their remaining headline shows, dates are available on their website.
