Showcasing artists going against the norm

There’s More Than Meets The Eye In Bukky Sky’s New Single

If there was one word to describe this track, it would be: timeless. Released on February 2nd, Bukky Sky’s “Amazing” is a sultry track utilizing classic jazz elements to highlight the tale woven into its lyrics.

“You use girls

Like they were books

Like they were mere instructions for your life

You choose girls

Like they were some type of statistic

Like they were mere stats for your life

You use girls

Because their souls they are love

And with giving hearts

Theirs become a part of yours

You bruise girls

With careless passion

Love them in body and leave them in mind

I wonder what is left behind”

What I would denote as the climax of this song is when the above verse is sung. The once calming atmosphere of the track is heightened in intensity. But this build-up should not come as a surprise to the listener. The first few verses of the track ease the audience in with each instrument lightly introducing themselves. After the second chorus is when the overall vibe changes. Almost as if a facade was fading away.

“It’s just another girl in the night time

It’s just another boy and he’s doing fine

It’s just another girl as she asks why

It’s just another girl”

Bukky Sky is a London based, Bradford born alternative-pop music artist. “Amazing” is the first single off of his debut EP Brave In Love. Be sure to follow him on his socials to be updated on his next release!
