Emily Vu’s “Just Wait” Teaches Us The Value Of Patience

Emily Vu is the voice of a generation that we can relate to, as her new single/video ‘Just Wait’ is out now. This melodic pop track is just what summer ordered, as she created it alongside her collaborators Sir Nolan and Andrew Schmidt (SZNS).

The track starts off with guitar riffs playing a calm melody. Her soft angelic vocals sing about the vulnerability of falling in love. It’s about being susceptible to love and how being in love is. Vulnerability is something that most people do not allow in today’s world. These days, it’s hard to open yourself up in fear of getting crushed. Through atmospheric pop beats, Emily asks for us to wait for the right moment and to trust the process.

Her music video is inspirational as many women surround her and represent a past relationship. The beauty and romantic undertone of the song drive the message forward. Accompanied with a chill bass line, the young pop artist showcases how she carries lessons through life. At its core, Vu’s music blends authenticity and bright pop sounds. You can feel the deep connectedness within its sound. This is a fresh look on how Gen Z should view the world.  https://www.youtube.com/embed/slW8cajOhDU?feature=youtu.be&wmode=opaque&enablejsapi=1

The SoCal native is quickly becoming an exciting young pop act, with several singles under her belt already. She first launched her career on TikTok last year, and is slowly gaining a fan base day by day. 2020 may be filled with hurdles, but for Emily that is just the push she needs. She’s garnered support from Hollywood Life, Ones to Watch, and Popular TV. Don’t miss out on a rising star in the making!
