Showcasing artists going against the norm

November 11, 2024 Michelle Castillo

Genevieve Stokes has Bewitching Performance at Brick and Mortar

Seeing Genevieve Stokes for a second time left me in as much awe as I did the first. This intimate performance took place on election night. While the audience was nervous about the results, they still found this show a welcoming distraction.

The trio on stage included herself on piano, Fiona Stocks-Lyons on drums and bass, and Peter Cafarella on accordion and bass. Seeing the artists who created With a Lightening Strike do what they do best on stage was magical. The accordion added a haunting touch to this live production, and the group’s overall performance added so much depth to the already beautiful album.

For those needing to surround themselves with captivating storytelling and soft vocals, a Gevenieve Stokes show is the perfect solution. Her tour recently ended, but be sure to follow her on Instagram to stay updated.
