This was my first time attending a show at the New Parish. Hidden behind the well know Fox Theater in Oakland, the New Parish venue provides a new experience for concert goers of all experiences. Overall, I enjoyed my time in this venue especially because it was also my first time seeing mxmtoon live.
Just days before her set at Outside Lands in San Francisco, Maia had performed her first hometown show in two years. It was truly an honor experiencing this show – she was such a down-to-earth performer. Each small break between songs was filled with laughter and smiles.
