Australia’s own Ocean Alley took to the stage at San Francisco’s Fillmore on Thursday, June 6. The sold-out venue danced the entirety of the set. The audience was mixed with longtime fans wearing tees from previous tours Ocean Alley ran to new fans who discovered them when their song “Confidence” was trending on TikTok.
I was excited to finally hear “Knees” and “Happy Sad” live. The vocals sounded as powerful live as they were recorded six years ago, and the band behind lead singer Baden Donegal was just as captivating.
