Who were your musical influences growing up?
My musical influences probably revolve around punk rock, melodic metal and indie rock. Weezer was pretty cool.
What inspired you to start creating music?
I got inspired by how easy it was to make music. I watched a lot of Youtube videos at the time showing people making music. Therefor deciding I might as well give it a try.
Do you prefer creating your own music or creating lo-fi remixes? What’s your favorite things about each?
I prefer creating my own music, 100%. This is why I’ve changed my music style up quite a bit. But on the other hand, making lo-fi remixes is a whole lotta fun and a whole lot easy. But making my own music (Hybrid Trap/Dubstep stuff I have been heading towards), Is so much better just mainly because the creativity is endless. With lo-fi it just sticks to the one thing, making a song chill and relaxing.
Which would you say is your favorite song that you’ve created so far?
Probably my Loot Remix I uploaded a couple of days ago. Because in my opinion it is pretty fire.
Would you say that your production style fits in with the music scene in Brisbane or is it completely different?
It is different, but not completely different. There are quite a bit of artists that make music similar to mine located in Brisbane, but there is also this repetitive amount of people (who are extremely talented) making casual hit pop songs, on Triple J unearthed with just a guitar and a couple of drums.
Have you ever performed live? What was that experience like? If you haven’t yet, what are you excited about?
That is a dream that I would love to come true to be honest. That’s also another reason why I am changing my style of music.
What’s your top goal as a producer?
To keep making music because I want to, not because I’m told to. (AND PERFORM LIVE)
Do you have any dream collaborations?
I have plenty of dream collaborations, but I will name my top 3.
