Colorado-based DJ and sax player SoDown and Minneapolis-based singer Megan Hamilton have come together to create the perfect electro-funk musical baby called “Right On Time”. The explosive track features SoDown’s signature sax sounds, along with Megan Hamilton’s intriguing vocals. This unique genre blend has brought us a tune we didn’t know we needed.
SoDown commented, “The next series of music I’ve been working on is inspired by the impermanence of life. ‘Right On Time’ represents the idea, that regardless of future or past, things happen as they should.”
Like SoDown, Megan Hamilton is creating her own genre with her hip-hop roots, soulful sounds, and edgy tone. Both musical talents aren’t afraid to go against the norm and take risks that have ultimately broken them into the music industry as unconventional artists who are paving the way of its future.
Having collectively graced the stages at Coachella, Red Rocks, Electric Forest, Global Dance, Lightning In A Bottle, Arise Festival, STS9’s Wavespell Festival, and Sonic Boom, SoDown and Megan Hamilton are just getting started.
