On Sunday, February 11, the Hails – with support from Foxtide – brought some much needed energy to Brick and Mortar. Immediately after watching the 49ers lose at the last second, we were greeted by the cheery faced openers and their upbeat music that livened up the venue. The crowd went crazy for Foxtide as they ripped through their discography during their 40 minute set. Bouncing around the crowded stage, adjusting the effects on their instruments in a whim, and the impromptu mosh pit formed by four enthusiastic fans was a wonderful chaos to witness.
Foxtide created the perfect amount of excitement for the main act. The crowd erupted as soon as the Hails stepped on stage. The setlist was well crafted with a balanced mixed of slow tempo and fast paced tracks. Ending the show with their 2018 hit “Stay” was gratifying. To hear everything they’ve released since that single live really puts into perspective on how much the Hails have evolved.
