This trio has had exponential growth on TikTok, gaining fans through creative song remixes, and even more creative video edits. They take everything from commercial jingles, popular TikTok songs and cartoon theme songs and turn them into catchy hip-hop songs with intense 808s. Their talent for production and remixes has garnered them over half a million followers on Tik Tok.
Their latest release “Run Away” was completely written and produced by the guys themselves. They bring in a strong bass and counter it with smooth keys and higher-pitched vocals. This song is easy to bop your head to when you’re driving or can hype you up while you work out. In previous interviews, the trio has mentioned they take influences from all sorts of artists such as Travis Scott and The Beach Boys. Personally, I believe their music is perfect for someone who is a fan of AJR and Hoodie Allen. Although they’re labeled as a hip hop group, they meld a variety of genres together to create a unique work of art that is completely recognizable as The Ugly Boys.
