Alternative/Indie band Wednesday, based in Asheville, North Carolina, released a dreamy and emotional song called “Wound Up Here (By Holding On)” on Wednesday , June 18th. It’s is set to be a part of their upcoming album on September 19th, 2025.
This song starts off with an upbeat guitar and drum instrumental, also carrying the lyrics to be very slow paced and sad. It gives off this very emotional and heavy vibe that just makes you want to sit and move with it. If you’re a fan of bands like Pool Kids, you’ll enjoy their music. While this song is a little more softer and on the more sad side, their other song, “Elderberry Wine”, on the album is more acoustic like and focused with guitar and drums.
While they have not announced a tour yet, their debut album “Bleeds” will be released on September 19 and will be available on all streaming platforms.
