Walking the the Toyota Pavillion grounds minutes before the opening act was set to start, I was surrounded by creative individuals wearing outfits from their favorite music videos, albums, and custom band merch. The Pierce The Veil/Sleeping With Sirens fanbase came in droves to see this band live. From security to the back of the venue, everyone was excited to see these two bands share the stage once again.
Having seen them both bands at When We Were Young almost a year prior, the excitement around their performances this night was just as, or even more so, potent as it was a few months prior. The announcement for this tour came out shortly after this festival set, and those same fans were craving to relive the experience of WWWY.
It’s incredible how Vic Fuentes and Kellin Quinn sound exactly the same to their recordings, even from albums a decade prior. I felt like I was transported back to my high school bedroom, screaming along to ”James Dean & Audrey Hepburn” and “Caraphernelia.”
Pierce The Veil will start the second leg of their tour in September in the UK and will make their way back to the States in October. Grab your ticket through this link. View the full gallery from this show below.
