Showcasing artists going against the norm

Being On Opposite Coasts Couldn’t Stop These Bestfriends From Creating “Last Bus In The A.M.”

Nothing is better than when music captures your soul. What’s even better is two friends making that same song a reality. Stacy and Kaelan make up the duo Bestfriend and their new single ‘Last Bus in the A.M’ is a creative pop single made while the two were on separate coasts.

That’s right, it is possible to create beauty from afar. The song is about youth, nostalgia, and memory. The music video is centered around old clips from different events and times. Stitched together, the video conveys the emotions of crashing a party, the fun, the journey, and the experience. How familiar are you with that feeling? How comfortable does that journey feel? They want you to think: Your friends are here! You dragged your ass out of your house to get here! For some reason you feel like you’re supposed to be excited!

So are you? There is a moment in the video where things start to become less exciting and comfortable. You feel like you don’t want to be there anymore and when you have a moment of clarity, you realize that young adult life is for self-discovery, development, and how you want to present yourself. This is a powerful track with emotional lyrics behind it. As the world continues to develop in an unknown fashion, the current state of things do not make it easier. We can only hope that music like this can shed light on what darkness there may be.

Stacy hails from the West Coast and Kaelan hails from the East Coast. Together, they created a glistening piece for you to listen to and enjoy. Anything is possible, if you believe it is!
