Starting with a chill two chord guitar riff that transitions into a groovy beat at the chorus, “Tuesday” by Bizzy is a laid-back reflection of the unbothered lyricism within the single. Following up on her more rock-forward single “Don’t Tell The Girls,” “Tuesday” details how problematic the person BIZZY is secretly seeing really is.
“Fresh out of fucks” to give, BIZZY accounts the negative things her former love interest could do that wouldn’t bother her anymore. “Hit me with your car (okay!) / Break my fucking heart / Think I’ll fall apart / It’s just another Tuesday.” This two minute song encapsulates what it feels like when you’ve been pushed over the edge one too many times that nothing else really matters.
“It’s like when you’ve cried so hard you just start hysterically laughing,” BIZZY says. “They’ve done the worst already. At this point? You might as well run me over with your car.”
BIZZY will accompany Rachel Chindouriri on her North American Tour starting Friday, May 9! You may get a chance to scream your heart out to “Tuesday” live. Check out the full list of show dates below.
