Portola is one of the Bay Area’s most anticipated electronic festivals. Set for September 26 and 27, this two day celebration is packed with some of the hottest acts of today. We’re personally excited for Zara Larsson who’s had one of her biggest years of her career. Also on the lineup are Horsegiirl, Underscores, Channel Tres, Azzecca, Six Sex, Fcukers, and Tove Lo.
We had the opportunity of attending the festivals second year and had an incredible time. Seeing that year’s acts among the cargo ships and cool breeze of the Bay ocean are what make festivals in the Bay so special.
If you didn’t know, Portola festival takes place at Pier 80 which is easily accessible by MUNI. There are two main stages; an outdoor stage and an enclosed, spacious warehouse. You may have experienced a show in the aforementioned space during RnB and Ribs.
